Sounders FC celebrates life and legacy of Bruce Lee
Together in collaboration with the Sounders Team, our 20-person Symphonic Orchestra celebrated the life and legacy of Bruce Lee!
The Peoples’ Pops Orchestra entertained a crowd of 40,000 fans with unique musical renditions composed from three Bruce Lee film favorites, “Game of Death,” “Fist of Fury” and “Enter the Dragon”.
The Show also featured AGT finalist and world-renowned performance painter David Garibaldi, who created an original art piece honoring Bruce Lee.
Our Mission
The People’s Pops Orchestra was founded with a bold mission: to expand the pool of musicians qualified to perform in premier productions, including Broadway musicals, celebrity concerts, and pop and rock performances.
Our orchestra is an innovative fusion of seasoned professionals and emerging talent — musicians who need only a bit more experience to excel at this level. Through thoughtfully curated performances, strategic mentorship, and rigorous preparation, we provide these musicians with the opportunity to perform alongside accomplished professionals, accelerating their path to success and enriching the artistic community in the process.
At Seattle Theatre Group, we believe in the transformative power of music and the richness that diversity brings to the arts. As Music Director for our iconic venues — the Paramount, Moore, 5th Avenue, and Neptune Theatres, as well as the Remlinger Farms concert venue — I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication of our musicians.
Their skill, work ethic, and professionalism allow them to deliver exceptional performances, often after just one rehearsal. Yet, it’s clear that there are many talented musicians whose only barrier is the opportunity to gain the experience required for these high-profile shows.
